Intermediate Care Facilities, Minimally Supervised Living Arrangements, Supported Living Arrangements and Day Supports were developed in response to the March, 1984 District Court Order which de-institutionalized the Grafton State School and San Haven. This District Court Order included as members of the class all citizens of the State of North Dakota who have a diagnosis of mental retardation or a developmental disability. All referrals for admission to Lake Region Corporation are provided through the Developmental Disabilities Program Management system of North Dakota via Lake Region Human Service Center (701-665-2000).
